We're definitely looking forward to the opportunities that will emerge as the analytics world of the web combines with that of the social web.

And I love your explanation of your number. You have included many values that I often attribute to connecting with a brand's community via social media. Very cool.

Cheers. I’m going with: 0001:13. This number harkens back to my personal philosophy that life is about relationships and experiences (thus the 1:1). By building strong relationships with people (i.e., your: spouse, children, friends, colleagues, etc.) you grow stronger and can find exceptional joy. Through experiences, you expand your world, cement relationships and gain wisdom. While relationships and experiences are distinct, put together I believe that their sum can be greater than the parts (thus the 3). Why the zeros in front…? I’ve got lots of room for personal improvement and for new relationships and experiences.

Jon – likewise, it was great to meet you as well.

Jim – agreed. Openness requires a high degree of risk and exposure – but it appears that the kimono is open and change is afoot.

Thanks to all for the comments!

Hey John -
Great to see you there. My main tak...

Hey John -
Great to see you there. My main takeaway is that webtrends is back - with gusto. The company now has an identifiable personality and vision. When they say "open and accessible" they don't just mean it as markitecture but also in their strategy, in their products and in their philosophy. The proof to me was making their Knowledgebase open to the public. That's scary because it gives competitors a look at the dirty laundry. But as Alex Yoder told me, that's a small price to pay for better customer service and a chance for prospects to really understand what they are buying. "Open and accessible" seems to have moved from brochureware to company DNA.
